Description
This new Buffer Inlet Assembly 3m KDT-1811-1222-N is the inlet line assembly used on Akta systems. The systems that use this line are the Akta FPLC, Explorer, and Purifier pumps. The Akta Prime Plus and P-960 sample pumps can also use this inlet line. They are available in (2) meter and (3) meter tubing length. The 3-meter Buffer Inlet Assembly 3m KDT-1811-1233-N contains: (1) Finger tight, (1) Ferrule, (3) meters of 3/16″ tubing, (1) titanium sinker and (1) inlet filter. Our part number is KDT-1811-1233-N. This is a new inlet line assembly for the FPLC series Aktas.
Replacement Parts:
The replacement Titanium filter assembly is also available separately. This replacement inlet line can be used on all Akta Explorer, Purifier, Prime Plus, P960 sample pumps, and FPLC systems. The tapered inlet side of this sinker is designed to accept all sizes of the solvent lines typically used with Akta FPLC systems. The sinkers are replaced as needed.
Maintenance:
The GE / Cytiva Akta systems use several different solvent lines. KayDee Tek has many of the common buffer lines used in the various Akta FPLC systems. This tubing should be replaced whenever they are found to be leaking or clogged. It is good practice to replace all solvent lines every other year depending on the system usage. If you are not sure which solvent lines you will need, you can contact KayDee Tek to find the correct parts for your system.
