This AKTA 100ml Full PM-with-PTFE KDT-1811-8578-N is a complete preventive maintenance kit for the Akta Explorer 100 ml and Purifier 100 ml systems. This kit is similar to our Kit number KDT-1811-18100-N with the upgraded pump seals to the Carbon PTFE seals. This type of maintenance should be performed once a year or more based on the usage of the FPLC system. These parts are used to rebuild the P-900 mobile phase solvent pump. Replace the air filter in the UV-900 detector and replace the on-line filter. Replace the PEEK purge valve O-rings. This Perfluorinated rubber O-ring is used to seal the valve to prevent air and liquid mobile phase leaks. Replace the injector face plate. Replace any inlet filters thar are bad.
