KayDee Tek offers support, service, and repairs for a variety of lab equipment, by various manufactures. We also offer assistance in custom writing S.O.P.s (Standard Operating Procedures). We provide onsite instrument IQ / OQ / PQ / IPV and calibrations for most of the equipment we service.

PARTS
KayDee Tek ‘s goal is to help you save money while continuing to use some of your older equipment beyond the standard life expectancy. We make many of the preventive maintenance ( PM) parts and some repair parts for the GE AKTA series equipment. The most common equipment we see is the Akta Explorer and the Purifier used in protein purification and other FPLC applications. We are now offering a depot repair service for some of the Akta electronics boards. KayDee Tek is an authorized sales and service provider for Pickering Laboratories’ post column derivatization products like the Pinnacle PCX , Vector and the New Onyx PCX. We support Thinky – USA mixers like the ARE 310 or the ARV 310 and many more.
CALIBRATION
Calibrating Equipment
This is similar to Instrument Performance Validation with the additional need to make physical adjustments to the equipment to bring the system with in the proper operating parameters. This involves a series of tests and values, recorded to verify the equipment is operating within correct parameters. These procedures are then documented whether the system meets the manufactures specifications. This is commonly used for Liquid Chromatography systems. All test equipment and standards used by KayDee Tek is calibrated to N.I.S.T. traceability.
